El Cortijo Jurado (The Cursed Farm) is situated in a few kilometers from Málaga. This is an immense territory, full of legends and mysteries with no explication found till nowadays.
For many years they tell stories about crimes, committed by the people from the high society of the XIXth century, about the landlords who bribed and were bribed in order to avoid justice. They tell about strange disappearances of young girls, about they unwilling participation in tantrum rituals and satanic orgies, about their deep burials on the territory of the Cursed Farm.
It´s possible that beacuse of all these horrific stories sometimes strange things happen on the farm. The neighbours of the farm often see lights of superhuman origin, hear noises and supernatural sounds.
A talk with the spirit
Five young men entered the farm. They did not even know what made them enter. Maybe curiosity, or the bravery of youth, or maybe they wanted to prove themselves that they were strong anough to live through this unusual experience on the farm with so many black legends told about.
They found a convenient room, spread a blanket on the floor, lit candles, took out a table and called for a spirit.
At first they did not feel any superhuman presence but little by little the guide started experiencing a weird tension and began to point to the letters on the table forming words and answering the questions his friends asked.
- Who are you?
The guide slowly, letter by letter, made a word. “E-L-E-N-A”. His friends looked at him frightened but decided to continue the talk with the spirit, so that they could find out the answers to all the questions about the Cursed farm.
- How old are you?
- “12”
- Why are you dead?
- “THEY KILLED ME”
- Were you one of the innocent victims of the lords of the farm?
- “ABDUCTION”
Strange noises in the next room distracted them. They felt cold coming from that room but decided not to stop. Nobody wanted to seem scared.
- Did they make you participate in a ritual?
- “MUCH PAIN”
- Were there others with you?
- “GIRLS”
- When did it happen?
- “I DON’T KNOW”
- Where did they bury you?
- “IN THE BACKYARD”
- How deep?
- “4”
- Meters?
- “YES”
- Are you alone?
- “NO”
- Are the other girls with you?
- “YES”
- Tell us where you are exactly and we will find you.
- “SIGN”
Suddenly, the guide stood still and in spite of all the efforts of the friends kept immobile for a while. Then he little by little recovered himself and it was decided to interrupt the experiment and to leave the room. They began to descend the stairs when one of them shouted constrained and the others felt panic. Through the window they saw a corner of the backyard lit with white light, as if this light was indicating a particular place of the farm. They ran away in fear and never came back.

Sphering, zorbing or globe-riding is the recreational practice of humans rolling downhill in a sphere, generally made of transparent plastic.
Sphereing is generally performed on a gentle slope, but can also be done on a level surface, as well as on water, permitting more rider control.
Most spheres are constructed for a single rider, but some hold two or three. The longer runs are approximately half a mile. Globe-riding is very popular in New Zealand and has just come to Spain.

In Alhaurin de la Torre, on the Carretera de Coín, 85 there is an Argentinian rotisserie called La Pachamana. The special dish of this restaurant is the meat, roasted in the open fire, and also fried Argentinian sausage served both in a sort of a table barbecue with the special Chimichurri sauce. The waiters are very friendly and would offer you an extra portion of meal for no extra charge at all. During the week the restaurants offers a salad-bar, and it is included in the price of your meal. So is a coffee or a dessert. The cost of the offer is of 12 euros per person. Very economic and nourishing.
